Aqua Socks: New in 2025
Wear Aqua Socks–Your Feet Will Thank You.
First Things First, What Are Aqua Socks?
Aqua Man-inspired kids clothing? Not quite. . . they’re actually the best footwear you can bring for a day at the lake and river!
Aqua socks were designed to be worn, as you can probably guess, in the water, giving your feet a barefoot-like feel (i.e. no clunky water shoes) but free of those painful moments of stepping barefoot on a sharp rock or jagged root (we’ve all been there!).
These socks are made of quick-drying, UV protection fabric with a flexible, thin sole. The sole is thin enough to allow your feet to feel what you’re walking over but thick enough to protect your skin against cuts and scratches. They also prevent your feet from burning when walking across hot surfaces (think sun-soaked concrete leading to the bathrooms and eateries).
What Activities Are Aqua Socks Good For?
Aqua socks provide excellent anti-slip protection for kayaking and paddleboarding. Plus, they’ll prevent your feet from becoming sunburned, which is such a painful and annoying spot for a sunburn.
Swimming and snorkeling are two more activities that are ideal for wearing aqua socks. The socks are thin enough to not interfere with your stellar swimming abilities but offer sun protection and from painfully stepping on common debris you’d find along the bottom of a river (sticks, pebbles and rocks).
How to Care for Your Aqua Socks
You’ve just spent the day splashing around Land of Natura in your new aqua socks–sweet! Now what do you do with them? To extend the life of your newest outdoor accessory, the key is to wash and properly store them after every use.
Hand rinse your aqua socks thoroughly with fresh water to remove any dirt, sediment, and sweat. Then let the socks completely air dry before storing them away from sitting in direct sunlight, which over time can cause some material degradation.
