Permitted in the Park

  • We recommend bringing your own life vest (we'll provide a life vest for Waterworld if you don't have your own)
  • Small inflatable floaties and beach toys
  • Empty water bottles - Feel free to use our refill stations to fill your bottle when you arrive

Not Permitted in the Park

  • No coolers or outside food or drink of any kind—including alcoholic beverages
  • No glass containers of any kind
  • No outside beach umbrellas or shade tents allowed and anything with a stake in the ground as it can puncture the lake liner under the sand. (Rentals available)
  • No plastic toys allowed in Lake Wisconsin Dells
  • No pets
Ticket price includes one session at Waterworld. Looking for more time at Waterworld? Additional sessions are available for purchase in person pending availability.

The Land of Nature Rangers are prepared to offer guests assistance with information, distribute wristbands, life jackets, and facilitate all cabana and equipment rentals. We kindly ask all guests to cooperate with our dedicated team, as they are here to provide support and safeguard the lake's integrity and the equipment's quality for everyone's enjoyment!

Frequently Asked Questions

General

No, we've got plenty of beach chairs along the north and south beaches for everyone to use.

 No, beach umbrellas that are staked into the sand are not allowed, as    they can puncture the lining of the lake. We do allow small sun shades without stakes, and we do rent umbrellas located in the Add On section of the ticket page.

Your gift card can be applied to anything in the park, including tickets, rentals, food, beverages, and gifts. If you have problems redeeming a previously purchased gift card, contact us at 608-253-0920 to help you book what you need.

Yes! and are available for all guests including free general admission. You'll find them all in the Welcome Center. Lockers are first come first serve, no coins, and credit card operated only.

We make it easy to cancel your tickets and refund your money 48 hours before the start time of your reservation. Sorry, no refunds within 48 hours of your reservation.

Waterworld, Rivertopia & Lake Wisconsin Dells

Waterworld participants must be 6+ years old and be able to swim to participate. (Mini-Waterworld is open for children up to 5 years of age).Important note: Adult supervision is required. There are no lifeguards at Waterworld and on Lake Wisconsin Dells.

Life vests are required on Waterworld. We will supply you with a life vest for Waterworld and Mini-Waterworld.  However, we strongly recommend you bring your own life vest to easily spot your child, and use it all day long for all lake activities and avoid not having the right size (or waiting for a life vest).at Waterworld. 

For the consideration of all guests, once you exit the lake, all life vests must be returned.

Lake Wisconsin Dells has a maximum depth of 20 feet, so it's perfect for swimming, snorkeling or renting a kayak or paddle board with your general admission pass. MIni-Waterworld is anchored near the shore in 0-4 feet waters.

Yes, based on availability and life vests in your size, you can participate as long as you want on Waterworld. However, we recommend you reserve your energy to try out all the many other attractions throughout the park too!

Food & Drink

Yes, bring your empty (non-glass) water bottle to the park and fill it at the refilling stations. We do not allow outside drinks into the park.

No, there is no outside food and drink available at the park.
