Phade Straws: New in 2025
We’re thrilled to introduce our newest eco-friendly initiative at Land of Natura: phade® straws!
As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, we've partnered with phade to bring you the world's first marine-biodegradable drinking straw that performs as well as traditional plastic. These straws aren't your typical eco-friendly alternative. Forget those flimsy paper straws that disintegrate halfway through your drink. Phade straws look, feel, and function just like traditional plastic straws, but they're made from something much better: canola oil.
Yep, you read that right. Canola oil! This unique material makes phade straws marine biodegradable. That means if they end up in the ocean (which, let's face it, sometimes happens), they'll break down naturally in about 58 days. That's a huge difference compared to the centuries it takes for plastic straws to decompose.
But their awesomeness doesn’t end there! Phade straws aren't just good for the ocean. They're also compostable. Whether you have a home compost pile or access to an industrial composting facility, these straws will break down and return to the earth, enriching the soil instead of clogging up landfills. Plus, they're sturdy enough to handle all kinds of drinks, from icy cold beverages to thick smoothies. No more soggy straws ruining your drink experience.
By making this switch, we're taking another important step in reducing our environmental impact while ensuring you still enjoy the same great drinking experience.
We hope you'll join us in embracing this positive change for our planet!
