At Devil's Lake State Park, you’ll find spectacular hiking trails with breathtaking views from the quartzite bluffs above the 360-acre lake.

Adventurous visitors can view the Dells landscape from above at Bigfoot Zipline, which features seven ziplines spanning up to 1,400 feet in length and reaching heights of 100 feet above the forest floor. Players solve puzzles and follow clues to free captured wizards in this elaborately themed environment that includes secret passages and optical illusions.

The Tommy Bartlett Exploratory houses over 175 interactive science exhibits, including the authentic Russian Space Station MIR core module and several mind-bending optical illusions. Be sure to plan a couple of hours into your day to enjoy all the exhibits! After a day of science and space, bring the family to see the Rick Wilcox Magic Show. The performances at this world-class magic and illusion theater combine grand-scale illusions with intimate sleight-of-hand tricks in family-friendly performances that will leave everyone wondering "How did they do that?"

Nature and education come together beautifully at the International Crane Foundation, the only place in the world where you can see all 15 species of cranes. Your whole family will learn something new about these majestic birds and global conservation efforts on the guided tours through naturalistic exhibits.

When it's time for some friendly competition, check out one of the Dell’s mini golf courses! Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf, for example, has 91 themed holes across five separate courses with layouts that are fun for minigolfers of all ages and skill levels.

When the kids are asleep or you're enjoying an adults-only getaway, there are plenty of distinctive experiences available just for grown-ups. Asgard Axe and Tap combines the fun of axe throwing with craft beer in a Viking-themed space. Trained "axeperts" will teach you proper throwing techniques, and you can enjoy local brews between throws. Downstairs in the Asgard Underworld Arcade, you can enjoy unlimited play on tons of classic and modern arcade games.

When you’re ready for more sophisticated drinks, head to The Dells Distillery to taste small-batch vodka, gin, and whiskey. Visitors can also book tours to learn about the distillation process from grain to bottle. The tasting room features creative cocktails made with their house-distilled spirits.

If you’re looking for live entertainment and tasty food to go with your drinks, head to Showboat Saloon. The prohibition-era building and generous outdoor seating area make this a relaxed and welcoming place to spend some time in the Dells.

Monk's Bar & Grill has been a Dells institution since 1947, known for its legendary Monkburgers. Each location has a slightly different menu, but all maintain the original's charm and quality that has made it a local favorite for generations.

At Buffalo Phil's Pizza & Grille, your food will be delivered to your table via model train! The train tracks run throughout the restaurant, fascinating both kids and adults. Each meal arrives on a customized train car while a massive model railroad circles overhead. Homemade pizza crusts, secret recipe sauce, and Wisconsin cheeses make the food as memorable as the delivery method.

Comfort food gets an upgrade at MACS–Macaroni and Cheese Shop. This family-owned restaurant serves over a dozen creative variations of the classic comfort food, from Buffalo chicken to lobster mac and cheese. Each variation is served in skillet dishes with crispy, broiled tops. This casual dining restaurant focuses on doing one thing exceptionally well. The result? The best mac and cheese you'll ever taste.

Paul Bunyan's Cook Shanty is a popular local attraction as well as a restaurant! You’ll enjoy an immersive, lumberjack-themed dining area with all-you-can-eat family-style meals. The famous buttermilk donuts made are fresh throughout the day. These delicious donuts have developed such a dedicated following that many visitors purchase extras to take home.

For those who crave variety, Grateful Shed is a food truck-themed indoor food hall that houses multiple restaurant options under one roof. Colorful, repurposed vehicles line the walls and serve everything from tacos to barbecue to sweet treats. A central bar serves craft cocktails and local beers.
